Students


1.       Do I need to register to attend the Industries Fair?

If you want to present your portfolio to companies representatives, you must register here.  You will receive a printed nametag the day of the Industries Fair and your contact information will be made available to company representatives who may need to contact you after the Industries Fair.


2.       What is the dress code?

You should wear clothes that are professionally appropriate for the position for which you are applying.  If you’re unsure of what to wear, you should always dress to impress.


3.       Do I need to bring anything with me?

Bring your resume and portfolio for companies representatives to review.


4.       What time is the Industries Fair?

See Schedule & Times. Historically, wait times are much shorter in the morning.


5.       Can I volunteer to help with the Industries Fair?

Absolutely! Student volunteers are essential for the Industry Fair to run smoothly. Please email our student representatives at vizindustryfair@arch.tamu.edu if you are interested in participating.


6.       Are classed canceled for the Industries Fair?

Classes are not canceled. Please plan your day accordingly so you don’t miss the opportunity to speak with company representatives. Some professors may allow students to attend during regularly scheduled class time. Check with your professor regarding their policy for attending the Industry Fair. Make sure to notify your professors ahead of time.


 Companies


1.        Do we need to register?

Yes. By registering, you will guarantee your company a space at the Industries Fair, name tags, and lunch. Please register here as early as possible.

2.       What will be provided?

Each registered company will be provided with a 6-foot skirted table, access to power, name tags, and lunch.  You can bring computers, tablets, TVs, promotion items, etc.  Student volunteers will be available to help you unload and load your equipment before and after the Industries Fair.

3.       What time is the Industries Fair?

See Schedule & Times. There is a loading area between our buildings. You can find a map to the loading area here. Student volunteers will be available to help you.

4.       Where do I park?

You will park in the Central Campus Garage.  Driving and parking directions can be found here.  Please bring your parking ticket with you to the Industries Fair so we can validate your parking.

5.       Can we review student resumes and portfolios prior to the Industries Fair so we can conduct interviews while we’re there?

Certainly! Please include this request on your registration form and we will make these available to you.

6.       Who do I contact if I have other questions?
